Chiropractic Adjustment

Spinal Adjustment

When a patient present pain in the spine, our office performs thorough examination to diagnose the condition properly. If the pain is related to certain movements of the body, it is most likely coming from the mechanical system. Most of the mechanical system pain is due to lack of full range of motion caused by injuries, poor posture and repetitive motions resulting in spasm and inflammation. Chiropractic spinal adjustment is the best treatment method to restore the normal range of motion to the joints associated with painful movements. Simply put, adjustments are the maximum stretching of the joints during the shortest amount of time.

Spinal adjustments are most commonly described as "cracking bones". In reality, bones do not crack. Chiropractors use bones as levers to move joints and that is Chiropractic Adjustment. We detect the spinal joints which do not have optimal range of motion and  administer the adjustments to restore the motion. When the tight joints are moved and stretched by adjustments, they often produce "popping" noise. When the joints regain their full range of motion, pain associated with tight joints will disappear.

Properly administered Chiropractic spinal adjustments are safe and fast way to decrease pain and regain patient's mobility. With a better functioning spine, general health will also improve.

Dr. Lee's adjustments are well known to be very gentle. Even the kids love his adjustments. We also provide " non cracking" adjustments with an instrument for patients who prefer not to be "cracked".

Extremities Adjustment

Chiropractic adjustments can be applied to every joint in our body. If the pain is caused by a joint stuck in a certain way, it should be moved to opposite direction to restore full range of motion. Chiropractic adjustments are effective treatments for many shoulder, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and feet conditions.
